Budget film site (apologies)

I tried watching some of the clips, but there was something wrong with the connection - might be my computer - I don't know.

I did get to watch most of Emoshay and one thing I noticed was that it was all MOS. You have a picture of a reel of film on your video listing menu, but all of your clips are shot on video. Emoshay, which is essentially a music video, could have easily been done on super 8, since you weren't synching dialogue. It would add to that poetic melodrama of the piece. But I would change the music since it instantly reminded me of the other film I've heard it in.

Maybe you want to think about investing in super 8, which is very affordable, if you plan on more MOS music video-type shorts.

Nigel would really be the one to jump all over you about this, especially since you have that graphic of a reel of film, but none of your stuff is actually shot on film, unless I missed it.

we are 18 year olds with part time jobs still in education.
believe me, i would love to use film, but im not forking out my limited cash on a camera, film and developing until im making something worth it. im lucky to own the DV camera i have which is pretty cheap anyway.
appreciate the comments though...

the server for the site is running fine, try saving as if you cant get them working.

I deleted the first post because I thought it was spam based on the lack of posting history and nothing stated in the thread.

Yes, it does get me when people say "I'm making a film about XYZ. We are shooting it on an XL1."

Hey in the end a good product is all that matters but if you take the time to shoot film be it Super8 or 35 you will take your time to think shots through and make better choices. Unlike the Fire-And-Forget/Lets shoot everything that tends to happen with video.
